Sonoma Outdoor Escapes at the Sonoma/North Bay Home Expo

We had an incredible time at the 2025 Sonoma/North Bay Home Expo, held March 29–30 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. It was a vibrant weekend full of ideas, inspiration, and great conversations with homeowners and fellow professionals who share our passion for outdoor living. As a local landscape design and build company deeply rooted in Sonoma County, we were proud to showcase our work and connect with people who are looking to transform their outdoor spaces in thoughtful, sustainable ways.

At our booth, we featured a range of recent projects that reflected our signature approach—natural, timeless, and tailored to the land. From edible gardens and native plantings to custom flagstone patios and retaining walls, we highlighted how we use materials that work with the local environment, not against it. We had design boards, photos, and samples on hand, and it was great to see so many people engaging with the details—asking about our favorite native plants, how we build healthy soil, and what materials hold up best in our climate.

One of the most exciting parts of the weekend was how many conversations we had around regenerative landscaping. More and more homeowners are looking for ways to create beauty and function without sacrificing environmental responsibility. We had the chance to talk about why we don’t use synthetic fertilizers or soaker hoses, how we incorporate compost and organic amendments, and why native plants are such a smart, low-maintenance choice for Sonoma County properties. These conversations are at the heart of what we do, and it was energizing to see that so many people are thinking about their gardens as living systems, not just outdoor décor.

Beyond the landscaping itself, we loved hearing how people want to live in their outdoor spaces—whether it’s a quiet place for morning coffee, a vegetable garden to share with the kids, or a space to entertain friends on long summer evenings. We’re all about designing with purpose, and that starts with listening. The expo gave us a great opportunity to hear what’s inspiring people right now and how their outdoor needs are evolving.

We also met with several local builders, architects, and vendors—collaborations we always welcome. Our projects are at their best when they bring together great minds across disciplines, and it was exciting to make connections with others who share our values around craftsmanship, sustainability, and client care.
